Jako Vorster

JAKO VORSTER

Jako Vorster obtained his Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) from the University of Pretoria in 2007, completed his articles of clerkship in Rustenburg, and was admitted as an attorney during June 2010.

After practising as an attorney and legal advisor, Jako served his pupillage at the Pretoria Society of Advocates, was admitted as an advocate on 25 January 2011 and held membership of the Society until December 2019 when he co-founded the Hatfield Advocates Group with Anneke Nell.

    ANNEKE NELL

    Anneke Nell obtained her Baccalaureus Legum degree (LLB) (Cum Laude) from the University of Pretoria in December 2009, whereafter she began serving her articles of clerkship at Du Plessis and Eksteen Attorneys.

    She completed the prescribed “Law School” at the University of Pretoria during early 2010, later ceded her articles of clerkship to Thomas Stofberg of Stofberg Attorneys, and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa during 2011.

    Thereafter, Anneke accepted employment as a Professional Associate of a law firm in Pretoria and was accepted by the Pretoria Society of Advocates in January 2012.

    Anneke was admitted as an advocate on 24 February 2012 and remained a member of the Society until May 2020 when she co-founded the Hatfield Advocates Group with Jako Vorster.

    HANNO BUCKSTEG

    Hanno Bucksteg obtained his Baccalaureus Legum Civilium (BLC) in 1998 from the University of Pretoria and later obtained the degree Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) from the University of Pretoria in 2001, completed his articles of clerkship in Pretoria, and was admitted as an attorney during September 2001.

    After practising as an attorney and legal advisor, Hanno served his pupillage at the Johannesburg Bar during 2013, was admitted as an advocate on 9 May 2013 and later held membership at the Pretoria Society of Advocates from July 2014 until December 2019 after which he joined the Hatfield Advocates Group during July 2020.

  • Mariska Hennig

    MARISKA HENNIG

    Mariska Hennig graduated in 2005 at the University of Johannesburg, obtain-ing her Baccalaureus Legum (LLB). After obtaining her degree, Mariska served her articles at Van Velden and Duffey Attorneys in Rustenburg, one of the biggest firms in the North West Province.

    From 2008 to 2009, Mariska worked in England, and obtained invaluable inter-national Personal Injury experience. Upon her return to South Africa, she opened her own law firm, and practiced under the name and style of M Grobler Attorneys, specializing in family law matters.

    In 2013, Mariska joined the Pretoria Society of Advocates, completed her pupil-lage, and passed the National Bar Examination in the same year. She has been practicing as an advocate of the High Court ever since, and joined the Hatfield Advocates’ Group in September 2020.
